As evidenced by my last post, my unwavering flare for the ultra dramatic leads me down the most bizarre mental episodes when I least expect it. Gaaa, if all my days were as filled to the brim with such drama, cocktails and theatrics... I might never leave my chaise lounger.
But enough of that mess, it's Friday! Now that the weather is somewhat warming up, there's just so much to do... farewell parties, charity galas, swimming lessons for the kids, several March family birthdays-- my girlie turns 6, wrapping up my home office redesign, suffering through Code Pink Boot-Camp, making a pitch for a weekly column in a local paper, prepping for a role in a summer play, going to high tea with friends, Nordstrom's Spring Beauty on Location event and finally, the Black Eyed Peas concert (yay!).Then I get to start all over and prep for the month of April.
What a fun, crazy social roller coaster... the challenge is in having the ability to meld these things with the existing day to day frenzy. If only I could retire at 34 like my friend Heather, or up and quit corporate life at 32 like Edy, I might actually find time to do all of the cool things on my list. As it stands today, time is seldom on my side and things will inevitably get pushed...
We'll see what happens. In other news, cheers. Feels like it's already miller time...
P.S. I have a recurring crush on bright teal eyeshadow this time of year. Electric eel is coming out for show, baby.
