We didn't practice but for an hour right before the contest. We discussed our theme (goth) via text messages the day of, and had to wing it on the second song of our set (Don't Fear the Reaper and Wanted Dead or Alive. Thanks to everyone for being so flexible, for being good sports about us all wearing makeup and most imporantly, for completely kicking ass and taking FIRST PLACE at the Battle of the Rock Bands contest in my Uncle James' backyard. We opted for the cash instead of the Santana concert tickets and plan to defend our title at the end of Summer bash!
